Infotrue Educational Experiences by Rick Landman
International Association of Lesbian and Gay Children of Holocaust Survivors

This IALGCHS Webpage was started in the 1990's

As the internet grew, so did our group. Now I try to update the old pages since the site gets many hits from Google. But there may be some broken links, or things that are out of date. I keep them there for historical and archival purposes.

"Just as a hidden Memory is forgotten... If History is hidden, then history is forgotten!"
AT OUR PEAK WE HAD OVER 150 MEMBERS IN Eleven COUNTRIES!

The Association is still alive in cyberspace. Much of the site has content that is no longer timely, but was kept on-line for historical purposes.

We still have the need to spread the word for educational and historical reasons. But we no longer have events or rap sessions, etc.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To honor and remember those of the Homosexual, (LGBT) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community
who were persecuted or killed during the Nazi era, and
to support the LGBT children (grandchildren) of Holocaust Survivors and their families and educate the public to our history.

WAS IT JUST AN OVERSIGHT THAT HOMOSEXUALS AND THE DISABLED WERE LEFT OUT OF THE FOLLOWING FAMOUS QUOTE?

"They came for the Communists, but I didn't speak up because I was none of those. Then they came for the Jews and I didn't speak up because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I didn't practice a trade. Then they came for the Catholics, and I was a Protestant so I didn't speak up. Then they came for me... by that time there was no one left to speak up."
Based on quote of Martin Niemoller (1892-1984) entered into the Congressional Record on October 14, 1968.
